The name ‘ANN’ stands for ‘GRACE’. St. Ann's is the mother of the Blessed Virgin Mary, She is an educator par excellence that she formed her daughter to become the Mother of the Son of God. ‘Providence’ indicates care and love of God the Father towards all His creatures. Our founders named the Congregation as ‘Sisters of St. Ann's of Providence’ that we be instruments of providence in the lives of all whom we serve and our presence and action may be modeled after St. Ann’s maternal solicitousness towards Mary the mother of Jesus.
